Story:
The lifestyle we all hope for. About I was hanging out with a group of friends when we started talking about the characteristics that make someone successful in their career. This topic really interested me as I personally have had some of the craziest ups and downs in my professional life that anyone could ask for. (If you're unfamiliar with my story, you can read more about it here.) When it was my turn to speak, I said that one of the biggest things I've seen that lead to success is to just not care (worry) about things so much. Sure you need to care about the things that are important to you, but many times I think we find ourselves getting worked up over everything; even things that have very little to do with us at all. When we started Zox, I wanted it to be unlike anything I had ever done in the past. I wanted it to be something built with core values that could stand on their own without any additions and allow us to grow. We decided those four things we would care about were Collectibility, Collaboration, Impact and Experience. If it was outside of those four core values it'd get our attention when we got around to it. To be honest, it's worked flawlessly for us. We accomplish more by doing what we truly enjoy; working with others, making a difference and making sure that every single person that we're able to interact with has nothing short of a phenomenal experience. We've always said 'Do what you love" and it rings true here too. When you're doing something you enjoy, it never seems like work. When the things you've made it a goal to care about are things you love to do anyway, you don't have a care in the world. This Strap is a way for you to remember that you choose what you care about; you're the one with the control over what makes you worry and what you let go.
