Story:
The Japanese Maneki Neko, or beckoning cat, is seen as a symbol of good luck and prosperity. The concept of luck can be a double-edged sword; sometimes you feel like you're on top of the world, and at other times like you've completely lost it all. I've given these cat figurines to friends and family as an encouragement, to remind them that someone is looking out for their well-being and believes that they deserve a chance.
