Story:
One of the hardest lessons to learn when creating art is learning to push through the obstacles that come up. It’s also a good lesson for everyday life. The first thing I tell my students when they start learning watercolors is to “trust the blob”. There will always be a stage in painting where you sit back and wonder how in the world you’re going to make something from the mess in front of you. The key is to keep going, and trust that it will get better. Sometimes the results will surprise you in the best of ways.
