Three Wise Monkeys. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. This awesome rendition by Black Ink Art on the Three Wise Monkeys has the most meaning behind it of the four Straps we made with them. For those of you who don't know, the three wise monkeys are a pictorial maxim dating back to 17th century Japan. While the Western symbolism of the 3 Monkeys is a negative one, the traditional eastern view is of being of good mind, speech, and action. To me, the meaning that I take from this design is to no tolerate the evil that we come across no matter what form it's in.
