Story:
I left work a bit later than usual today. I was happy to find out that clocking out an hour later allows for me to catch the skies change colors as the sun sets during my drive back home. The joyful feeling of missing LA traffic triumphs the burden of having to work another hour, while easing the stress of making ends meet, especially since I could enjoy a peaceful drive home listening to my favorite songs. When I made it home, I opened the door allowing for the summer breeze to flow into the house. The table is set and I’m looking forward to the food that has been prepared. I realize that happiness requires you to look to the future. Peace is knowing that you can move forward.

I realize that peace is not having old memories hold you back from making new ones. Happiness is the chance to make new memories with the people you love. People may think that life is dull and is black and white, but sometimes all you have to do is realize everything that you already have.
