Today is yours for the taking. Every day we have is a blessing, but it's easy to take it for granted. Sometime's days start to blend together and we need a reminder to seize the day. We need to keep focused on living the best possible life we can, because once it's over, there are no second chances.
On July 15th I was hit by a car while long boarding and my right arm was run over. My life flashed before my eyes as I saw the car turning to hit me in the intersection. It was a rude awakening that life is extremely fragile and can end at any moment, and we truly have no control over it. Before that even happened, I was doing my best to live life to the fullest. The day before I took my introductory pilots lesson. While it was a shock, it's given me over more drive to continue to do everything I can to make every day count with those I love and accomplishing the things I want to do in life.
