If you’re a fellow Texan, you know exactly which storm I’m talking about! At first, it was fun to see the snow lining the grass, shimming white filling in gaps of green. It was a beautiful sight and a fun experience for someone who never really sees a true winter. Then, the snow kept falling, and a few days turned into a week of being stuck inside. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eHowever, despite the cabin fever that commenced, it was the first time in years that my family and I were truly forced to spend time together. Not that we don’t enjoy spending time together, but without power, we were all huddled together around the fireplace, sharing stories and playing games. To me, it felt like childhood all over again! Spending time with my grandma, hearing about her life, and enjoying time with my parents. A few months later, I’d be moving out and away from them, but at the time, I didn’t know that. Now, I cherish those memories.
