This is one of those reminders I think all of us could use.
Seriously, every single one of us.
Why, you ask?
Because now more than ever before, social media has become this tool with great intent that has a surprisingly bad-for-you side-effect: We see the best parts of people's lives and wonder why we don't have the same.
But if we're honest with ourselves, we know that it's not really the full picture. Every human being has ups and downs, good days and bad. But when we let this temptation to compare our 'normal' to the fictitious and overly scripted 'influencer' experience, it's easy to feel like you're losing.
And that, my friends, is the wrong path to go down.
The text I wrote for the card here reflects my thoughts on this perfectly: True joy occurs when we're content - when we can love who and where we are without conditions.
My hope for you, with this wonderful ZOX, is that it reminds you to stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and instead reflect on all the gifts you have right here, right now.
